Yogurt is produced through a process of fermentation, and proper fermentation requires precise temperature control. Using Item #16H yogurt culture you can produce delicious yogurt in only 4-1/2 hours. When using CBA yogurt starter #16H-1, 12-15 hours of incubation is needed during which time the temperature must increase gradually from 73ºF to 112ºF. When making up extra yogurt, an optional second batch container is also available. Made of food grade plastic, it contains no PVC materials. An optional glass extra batch container is also available for use with this yogurt maker. Can also be used to make kefir.
